The Center for a New American Security, the S&R Foundation, and the International Institute of Global Resilience, hosted a high-level public forum to discuss crisis management, homeland security, and strategic resilience.

The event, featuring remarks on “Next Generation Homeland Security” by former Homeland Security Department Secretary Michael Chertoff followed by a panel discussion with LtGen Wallace “Chip” Gregson, USMC (Ret.), Yuki Tatsumi, and The Honorable Dr. Patrick Cronin, culminated a joint research effort into thinking about how to improve U.S. and allied crisis management in the face of myriad crises.

The meeting, held at Halcyon House in Georgetown, coincided with the final report emerging from the joint project, which was centered on a series of off-the-record gatherings known as the Evermay Dialogue.  Hard copies of the report, written by CNAS Asia-Pacific Security Program Senior Director Dr. Patrick M. Cronin, were available at the event.
