On Tuesday, June 18, the Center for a New American Security hosted a discussion on U.S. capabilities for protracted conflict with Katherine Kuzminski and Andrew Metrick. This conversation will broadly discuss the increasing risk of conflict protraction and the requirements for the U.S. to deter and, if necessary, to defeat an adversary in a protracted conflict. The event marks the release of a new CNAS report, Back to the Drafting Board: U.S. Draft Mobilization Capability for Modern Operational Requirements by Katherine Kuzminski and Taren Sylvester. The event was moderated by Joshua Keating, Senior World Correspondent at Vox.
