About the Event

Senior leaders in the Department of Defense, House Armed Services Committee, and Senate Armed Services Committee have been rightly focused on acquisition reform in recent years. This focus has yielded new authorities and organizations designed to help the DoD gain access to the technology it requires, particularly from new commercial sources. But how is DoD translating this imperative into practical action?

This event will provide an opportunity to hear first-hand experiences of how DIUx, rapid acquisition units in DoD, and other federal agencies are using new authorities and methods to successfully collaborate with innovative companies on timelines of days and weeks instead of months and years. Learn how your organization can leverage this type of Other Transaction authority and other innovative acquisition methods.
