Virtual Report Launch: Reengaging Iran: A New Strategy for the United States

On August 4, 2020, the Center for a New American Security (CNAS) Middle East Security team hosted a virtual event for a new report entitled Reengaging Iran by Ilan Goldenberg, Elisa Catalano Ewers, and Kaleigh Thomas.
The event began with a short presentation from the authors and a fireside chat, featuring:
- Jake Sullivan, Non-resident Senior Fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and former National Security Advisor to the Vice President
The event also included an interactive roundtable discussion on potential options for a new U.S. administration or second-term Trump administration to engage Iran in 2021. Throughout the session, the audience participated with questions for the experts, featuring:
