Abigail Ruscetta

Major Abigail “Abby” L.W. Ruscetta is a Congressional Appropriations Liaison on the Secretary of the Air Force Staff. As such, she is an Air Force Liaison to the Congressional Appropriations committees and develops strategies to secure funding for Air Force programs. She was most recently a Strategic Policy Intern in the Pentagon, Washington, D.C. where she worked in Air Force Acquisitions and the Joint Staff Chairman’s Action Group.

Major Ruscetta was commissioned in 1997 from the United States Air Force Academy and earned her Master’s degree in 2003 in Logistics Management. She has had a number of maintenance and logistics assignments at the field level, serving as a flight commander, maintenance officer, executive officer, and operations officer. She has deployed to Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
