Abigale Belcrest

Abigale Belcrest serves as a Senior Policy Advisor at the National Semiconductor Technology Center (NSTC) within the CHIPS R&D Program. In close collaboration with the NSTC Workforce Center of Excellence and CHIPS Program Office, Abigale designs and implements evidence-based solutions to strengthen America's semiconductor talent pipeline.

Previously, as Policy Advisor to the Deputy Assistant Secretary at the Economic Development Administration, Abigale shaped key initiatives including the Regional Technology and Innovation Hubs ("Tech Hubs") and the Recompete Pilot Program, helping drive U.S. economic growth and innovation.

Abigale began their federal service at the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), where they served as Deputy Chief of Staff.

Prior to joining the U.S. government, Abigale worked at the MIT Election and Data Science Lab (MEDSL). Abigale holds a B.A. in Arabic and Legal Studies from Williams College. They are a former Morocco Fulbrighter and a recipient of the Critical Language Enhancement Award for continued Arabic study.
