Ashwin Rajaram

Ashwin Rajaram is a consultant at Promontory Financial Group, graduate research analyst at the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) CERT, M.S. candidate at Carnegie Mellon University, and a reserve Naval Officer assigned to the Chief of Naval Operations Intelligence Plot (CNO-IP).

As a strategy and cyber consultant, Mr. Rajaram operates at the intersection of private industry, the public sector, and technology to bolster the security, stability, and resiliency of our nation’s critical infrastructure. He previously worked as a management consultant and as a threat finance and counter terrorism analyst where he authored strategic assessments for senior government officials.

Mr. Rajaram graduated Magna Cum Laude from George Washington University with a degree in International Business and Finance, has a Master’s certificate in Cybersecurity Management from the University of Virginia, and is an M.S. candidate at Carnegie Mellon’s Heinz School of Public Policy and Management in information security (cyber), policy, and management. He understands Tamil fluently and has a basic understanding of Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.
