Brian Bumpas

Brian Bumpas is a Manager & Technical Expert at Two Six Technologies, where he puts AI/ML to action. Brian merges a background in mathematics with deep qualitative expertise to analyze adversarial disinformation campaigns. Mr. Bumpas has worked with the M3 team at Two Six Technologies since 2018, coordinating closely with subject matter experts, data scientists, and engineering teams to target and refine M3's collection and analytics platforms. He is a Fulbright and Boren scholarship alum, having cultivated professional Mandarin proficiency through four years of experience living in Taiwan and China.

Prior to joining Two Six, Mr. Bumpas researched cross-Strait economic interdependence at CSIS, US-China bilateral relations at the Carnegie-Tsinghua Center, and China's space program while on his Boren Fellowship in Beijing. Mr. Bumpas holds an M.A. in Asian Studies from Georgetown University and a B.A. in Mathematics from Occidental College.
