
Cheryl Tull

Cheryl Tull is a Joseph S. Nye, Jr. Intern for Development at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS).
She graduated magna cum laude from American University with a major in International Studies and a minor in History. Her undergraduate thesis focused on French foreign policy during the presidency of Charles de Gaulle and its effects on U.S.-French relations.
Prior to joining CNAS, she worked as a research assistant for the National Security Archive and the Project on Defense Alternatives. At American University, she was also a member of the Global Scholars program, an accelerated honors program, as well as a division chief and writer for the Pericles Institute, an undergraduate-run foreign affairs think tank.
