Douglas Silverman is Managing Partner and Co-Chief Investment Officer of Senator Investment Group, a leading cross capital structure investment firm he co-founded in 2008. Mr. Silverman is active in a wide range of philanthropic and community activities, both individually and through The Senator Foundation. In 2021, Mr. Silverman co-launched The Secure Future Project (TSFP), whose mission is to research, develop and implement innovative, data-driven social policy efforts to combat the opioid epidemic. Mr. Silverman sits on the Board of Directors of Center for a New American Security (CNAS), an independent, bipartisan, nonprofit organization that develops strong, pragmatic, and principled national security and defense policies. He also serves as a member of The Board of Governors of Shalem College, the only Israeli institution of higher education to offer a broad based Core Curriculum for undergraduates. Mr. Silverman received a B.A. in Economics, cum laude, from Princeton University. He lives in New York City with his wife, Fabienne and their three daughters.
