Erin Corcoran

Ms. Erin Corcoran is a Foreign Affairs Specialist in the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), currently serving as the Special Assistant to the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy. Previously, she has worked as the Acting Director for Strategy, focusing on the implementation of the 2022 National Defense Strategy. She has served as the Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs and as the Open Skies treaty lead on the Russia and Conventional Arms Control desk in the OSD Russia, Ukraine, and Eurasia office. She has also worked on conventional arms control issues for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency and the Department of the Navy. Ms. Corcoran received her M.A. in defense and strategic studies from the Naval War College and her B.A. in international relations and political science from Wellesley College.
