Frederick O. Terrell

Former Executive Vice Chairman of Investment Banking and Capital Markets, Credit Suisse
Frederick O. Terrell is the former Executive Vice Chairman of Investment Banking and Capital Markets at Credit Suisse. He was responsible for the Bank's global banking relationship with some of its largest and most admired clients. He was a member of Credit Suisse's Investment Banking Committee, Managing Director Promotion Committee and the Board of Trustees of the Credit Suisse Americas Foundation. Fred began his career as an Associate with The First Boston Corporation in 1983. He has held senior positions within the Investment Banking and Fixed Income departments.
Fred currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the CBS Corporation and is a member of the Investment Committee of the Rockefeller Foundation. He a former member of the Board of Directors for the New York Life Insurance Company, Wellchoice Inc. and Carver Bancorp, Inc. where he served as Chairman of the Board. He is a former member of the University Council of Yale University and past Chairman of the Board of the Coro Foundation, New York Leadership Center, Board of Advisors of the Yale School of Management, Board of Directors of the Partnership for the City of New York, the Partnership Fund for New York City, Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City and the Zara Center, a community center for AIDS inflicted families living in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. He is a member of The Economic Club of New York City and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Fred earned his B.A. degree from La Verne College, an M.A. degree from Occidental College and his M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management. He is a 1977 Coro Foundation Fellow in Public Affairs.
