Jack Keating is a Joseph S. Nye National Security intern for the Defense Program at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS).
Prior to joining CNAS, Keating served as a James C. Gaither junior fellow in the American Statecraft Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. At Carnegie, his research primarily focused on grand strategy, American foreign policy, and relations between America’s adversaries. He also interned in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Legislative Affairs in the Department of Defense.
Keating graduated with a BA in government from Dartmouth College, where he studied international relations, security, and domestic political violence.
