John O'Malley
Former Intern, Middle East Security Program
John O'Malley is a former Joseph S. Nye, Jr. Intern for the Middle East Security Program at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS).
Before joining CNAS, John interned in both the Wisconsin State Senate and Assembly, and crafted economic policy recommendations for Adams County, Wisconsin as a member of the UniverCity Alliance Project. He is also a researcher in the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Political Science Department, analyzing global infrastructure data.
John is completing his double major in Political Science and International Studies, with a minor in Middle East Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is concurrently pursuing an Accelerated Master's of International Public Affairs from the Robert M. La Follette School of Public Affairs.
