Kiana Alirezaie

Kiana is a former Joseph S. Nye Jr. Intern for the Middle East Security Program at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS).

Kiana recently graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor's in International Relations and a minor in Human Rights. As an undergraduate at UC Davis, she conducted research for the New York Times Media Project, which focuses on the genealogical representation of Arabs, Women, and Islam in the New York Times from the 20th century to the present. Kiana also interned for Article 26 Backpack, an online educational platform that aims to increase educational mobility for refugees and conflict-affected individuals.
