Nathan Sawyer

Lieutenant Commander Sawyer is a U.S. Navy Air Battle Manager serving as a Squadron Department Head in Norfolk, VA. LCDR Sawyer has deployed to every Fleet Area of Responsibility, participating in numerous Multi-National Exercises. Most recently, in 2023, he deployed to FIFTH Fleet aboard the USS Eisenhower leading combat missions in support of Operation Prosperity Guardian. A Carrier Airborne Early Warning Weapons School graduate, he served for five years as a Weapons and Tactics Instructor developing tactics and future weapons systems. In 2022, the Commander of Naval Air Forces selected him for the Navy Fleet Scholars Fellowship through which he graduated from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies with a Master of International Public Policy degree.
