President, Leidos National Security Sector
Roy Stevens is a corporate Executive Vice President of Leidos and the President of Leidos’ National Security Sector. In this role he is responsible for leading over 9,000 professionals delivering a wide variety of programs for customers in the Department of Defense, the US Intelligence Community and Homeland Security. Programs in his portfolio cover the gamut of capabilities that underpin customers’ most important priorities, including cyber, software development, key management, AI/ML, deep analytics, intelligence analysis, C4ISR and logistics. Prior to this assignment, Stevens served in multiple C-suite roles for the corporation including President of the Intelligence Group as well as Chief Growth Officer.
Ahead of Leidos' 2016 merger with Lockheed Martin's Information Systems and Global Solutions (IS&GS), Stevens spent 20 years with Lockheed Martin. There, he served in executive level positions both in program execution overseeing large complex design, test, and manufacturing programs as well as business development for multiple lines of business spanning the air, sea, and land domains.
With over 33 years in the aerospace and defense industry, Stevens has a broad background in engagements with customers across the globe. He has delivered a variety of programs in more than 20 countries including missile production, special mission aircraft integration, command and control, logistics and complex information technology.
Stevens is an active member of the community, including currently serving on the Board of Directors for both Cornerstones (a stability and empowerment charity serving the Dulles corridor) and the Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Oregon State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Washington State University.
