Samantha Baxter

Samantha Baxter is the operations and IT assistant at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS). Prior to CNAS, Baxter worked as a procurement and inventory specialist for the World Bank, where she facilitated and tracked shipments to ensure hundreds of clients, both in and out of the United States, got access to the technology that they needed. Previously, Baxter worked at Apple for seven years, where she honed her skills in cross-team collaboration, financial planning, customer support, and leadership. Baxter held several roles during her time at Apple, and her team’s collective efforts in problem solving and inventory management bolstered Apple’s commitment to innovation and efficiency.

Baxter holds a BA in studio art from the University of Maryland, where her artwork was displayed in the Herman Maril Art Gallery on campus. She also holds five project management certifications issued by Google.
