Serene Pierce

Serene Pierce is a former Joseph S. Nye, Jr. Intern for the Military, Veterans, and Society Program at the Center for New American Security (CNAS).

Serene is pursuing a Master of Arts in Military Ethics at Case Western Reserve University. She is concurrently completing her bachelor's in international studies with a concentration in national security and diplomacy with a regional focus in the Middle East. She is also pursuing minors in Arabic and data science, with research related to countering violent extremism.
