Israeli Forces Join 6,400 Us Personnel for Wide-Ranging Military Exercise

The joint training will strive to counter “a variety of regional threats,” the Israel Defense Forces stated on Twitter on Monday.The exercises is expected to test the two forces on a level of coordination that only a handful of militaries in the world can handle, said Jonathan Lord, senior fellow at the Center for a New American Security, a Washington-based think tank. "We're seeing forces — air, land, sea and space and cyber — cooperate in real time in operations," Lord said." For one military force to engage in all those components is already incredibly impressive," Lord added. "The fact that we're doing it in coordination with a partner, it's incredibly ambitious."
