Lynn: Future Foundry project to study next-gen DoD, DIB collaboration

The defense industrial base that makes equipment and performs services for the military is getting a top-down review. TheCenter for a New American Security is launching the Future Foundry initiative to make recommendations to the Defense Department on how to integrate new technology and new competitors into the defense industrial base. Former Deputy Secretary of Defense Bill Lynn is a co-chair of the initiative, along with former NASA  Administrator and Navy Secretary Sean O’Keefe. Bill Lynn is now the Chief Executive Officer of DRS Technologies. He discussed the Future Foundry project on National Defense Week.
