New CNAS Report Analyzes China’s Cyber Strategy

A new report by the Center for a New American Security outlines China’s cybersecurity strategy in the political, economic and military arenas and the development of supporting infrastructure in the past 30 years.
CNAS said Wednesday that Amy Chang‘s “Warring State: China’s Cybersecurity Strategy” report indicates that a level of distrust between the U.S. and China has hindered potential collaboration on cyber initiatives.
“Devising an optimal strategy to address the challenges in the U.S.-China cyber relationship first requires an understanding of motives, agendas, and stakeholders embedded in the process,” said Chang, a CNAS research associate on technology and national security.
