New Report Says Military Suicides Are On The Rise

BOSTON (CBS) – The U.S. Military has been grappling with the problem of suicides within its ranks, but according to a new report by the Center for a New American Security in Washington, the military hasn’t made much progress.

In its report, Losing The Battle: The Challenge of Military Suicide, CNAS says suicides among active duty service members have nearly doubled during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
