Will Ukraine Wind Up Making Territorial Concessions to Russia?

The only stable outcome is one in which Ukraine retakes, at a minimum, the territory Russia has taken since February 24, 2022."

Robert D. Kaplan: "War, being life at its most intense and extreme, is a matter of innumerable contingencies. So no one is really sure how this will end. Still, it will be hard for the Ukrainian leadership to make significant territorial concessions to Russia, given the massive loss of life, property, and infrastructure in this war. And I do not believe that Russia is capable of turning this war to its advantage. "
