CNAS Announces Building the Future Capital Campaign

Washington, May 22, 2024—The Center for a New American Security (CNAS) today announced its inaugural capital campaign, Building the Future. In a world awash with challenges, the demand for the Center’s work has never been greater. The new campaign will ensure that CNAS can fulfill its critical mission now and into the future.

The Building the Future campaign seeks to raise $15 million to help the Center build the future of U.S. national security policy. To date, CNAS supporters have already committed more than $10 million toward the effort. With it, CNAS will reach new heights by launching an Innovation Fund, which will enable our experts to tackle breaking developments and frame emerging issues for policymakers. The fund will also allow the Center to experiment with cutting-edge methodologies, including scenario-based wargames. Other donations to the campaign may be earmarked for particular research programs and efforts.
