CNAS Welcomes Adjunct Senior Fellows J Travis Mosier and Michael Sellitto

Washington, August 22, 2022—The Center for a New American Security (CNAS) is pleased to welcome J Travis Mosier and Michael Sellitto as Adjunct Senior Fellows. Mosier joins the Energy, Economics, and Security Program at CNAS, while Sellitto joins the Technology and National Security Program.

J Travis Mosier is a trade, technology, and semiconductor policy expert. He has a distinguished track record in spearheading federal initiatives that have strengthened the resiliency and global competitiveness of the chips sector. After leaving government service in 2022, Mosier is now an Executive Advisor for Technology Partnerships, Public Policy & Strategy at mySilicon Compass, LLC. Mosier's full bio is available here.

"Travis is an expert in developing policy and strategies for strengthening U.S. leadership in semiconductors," said Emily Kilcrease, Senior Fellow and Director of the Energy, Economics, and Security Program. "His long experience within government will be a tremendous asset to our economics and security research."

Michael Sellitto is the Head of Geopolitics and Security Policy at Anthropic, an AI safety and research company. In this role he examines the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies on issues related to national competitiveness, international relations, and international security.
