New Speakers Added for 2022 CNAS National Security Conference
Washington, June 9, 2022—Today, CNAS announced several new distinguished speakers who will join the CNAS 2022 National Security Conference, Security in the Balance. The conference, which is scheduled for June 14-16, 2022, will convene leading experts to examine American power and purpose in a changing world.
New speakers include the following:
- Rep. Jim Himes (D-CT) and Rep. Brad Wenstrup (R-OH) will join the TechMatters: America's Strengths in Technology Competition session for a special discussion with Martijn Rasser on June 14, 2022 at 12:30pm ET.
- Lt. Gen. James Clapper, Jr. (Ret.), former Director of National Intelligence, and Lt. Gen. Robert Ashley, Jr. (Ret.), former Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency will join the War in Ukraine: Declassifying Intel panel with Carrie Cordero on June 14, 2022 at 2:00pm ET.
- Rep. Ami Bera (D-CA) and Rep. Michael McCaul (R-TX) will join the Beyond Hub and Spoke: A New Indo-Pacific Order panel with Lisa Curtis, Suzanne Puanani Vares-Lum, and the Hon. Arthur Sinodinos on June 16, 2022 at 1:00pm ET.
