Investing in Bipartisan National Security
Dear Colleagues,
It is a momentous time in Washington. As a new presidential administration prepares to take office, the country faces an ongoing pandemic, an uncertain economic environment, continuing social divisions, and a challenging array of global issues.
Through it all, CNAS’ role is as vital as ever. The national security policies adopted over the coming months will shape America’s trajectory in the world far beyond the present moment. And in a likely era of divided government, Republicans and Democrats will need to come together around policies that serve all citizens. With CNAS’ focus on developing bold, innovative, and bipartisan approaches, we intend to be at the center of this effort.
To support this critical mission, I ask that you consider making a donation today to help us develop the bipartisan national security policies of tomorrow.
In the year ahead, CNAS will pursue an ambitious agenda to hone America’s edge in an increasingly competitive world. The Center’s pragmatic work will aim to impact policy and shape the debate even during a time of political division. This will include:
- Writing a U.S. national technology strategy
- Developing new approaches to U.S.-China economic competition
- Expanding our wargaming practice through the Center’s new Gaming Lab
We’ll do all this and more while engaging senior policymakers and Congress, training a new generation of national security leaders, and shaping the debate over America’s role in a changing world.
To do this successfully, we rely on the generous support of our community. Please join our efforts by making a tax-deductible donation to CNAS today.
Thank you for your support of our important work. It makes all the difference.
Best wishes,
Richard Fontaine
