Korski on NATO
Daniel Korski (who has a pretty impressive resume for someone as young as he is and wrote this recent report on Europe in Afghanistan [.pdf]) has an article in the Guardian.co.uk outlining the challenges ahead of NATO as it opens its summit in Bucharest. (Whoever thought, circa 1970, that NATO would one day have a summit in Bucharest?)
...as Nato leaders prepare to meet in Bucharest, considerable challenges remain, including Nato's expansion, its Afghan operation and its transformation to a leaner organisation. Hiding beneath those items lies an even bigger question: what is Nato for in the 21st century?
