Aviation Advising: Access and Influence through Airpower

Tobias Bernard Switzer, Adjunct Senior Fellow, discusses past success of air advising and explains aviation’s role in establishing access and influence with partner nations. He goes on to explain how the Air Force is divesting key air advising units creating a shortfall between what combatant commanders are requesting and what the services can provide as well as how models of air advising can adapt and be reprioritized.
