Inside China Tech: Analysing China’s race with the US for AI dominance
This week, Zen Soo looks at how China and the US compete for technological supremacy in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), and how this is affected by the US-China trade war and bans on Huawei and ZTE.
She speaks with one of the pre-eminent authorities on the status of China’s AI development: Gregory Allen from the Center for a New American Security (CNAS). Allen is a fellow for CNAS' Technology and National Security Program and recently wrote a research report titled “Understanding China's AI Strategy”.
