Pentagon sounds alarm over Russia-China cooperation in the Arctic

The Pentagon is increasingly concerned about cooperation between Russia and China in the vast, inhospitable Arctic. A new strategy is aimed at countering that.

"This is one of the rare times where their bomber aircraft worked together," said Jim Townsend.

"This was a big wake-up for the United States. China and Russia are working together in a very sophisticated way, and we're coming right close to Alaska."
