US to send Ukraine $800 million in military aid
On Thursday in Washington, President Joe Biden announced that the US is sending additional aid to Ukraine. He said the US is sending $800 million, which includes weaponry suited for fighting in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine, as Russia prepares to launch a new offensive. Host Marco Werman speaks with Jeffrey Edmonds, a Russia military analyst with the Center for Naval Analysis think tank. He also worked at the White House, the CIA, and served for over two decades in the US Army.
