Lessons from the 2013-2014 Israeli-Palestinian Final Status Negotiations
As Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu prepares to address the U.S. Congress, the Center for a New American Security (CNAS) is releasing the latest in its Voices From the Field Series, Lessons from the 2013-2014 Israeli-Palestinian Final Status Negotiations. The piece is authored by Ilan Goldenberg, Director of the CNAS Middle East Security Program and former Chief of Staff to the State Department’s Special Envoy for Israeli-Palestinian Negotiations during the 2013-2014 negotiations. In the piece, Goldenberg lays out nine lessons and recommendations that should inform future negotiations.
