Kayla M. Williams at America's Warrior Partnership Panel
CNAS's Military, Veterans, and Society Program Director Kayla M. Williams spoke recently on a distinguished panel on the experience of women veterans reintegrating into civilian life, leadership among the community, and the steps needed for future strides in serving this important demographic. In describing the scope of leadership, Williams noted: "Women veterans volunteer as very high rates and extremely engaged in their communities" and further empowerment by different coalitions can amplify their leadership in civilian life.
