Nation Building In Afghanistan
Nora Bensahel talked about a Senate Foreign Relations Committee report on the successes and failures of U.S. nation-building effort in Afghanistan. Topics included the goals of the U.S. in Afghanistan, cost and potential of further investment, the credibility and allegiance of the Karzai government, and how corruption and graft have affected efforts. Ms. Bensahel also responded to telephone calls and electronic communications.
