Reversion of Afghanistan could distract the U.S. away from its strategic focus on China: CEO
Richard Fontaine, CEO of the Center for a New American Security, says when it comes to national security, there is no bigger crisis than terrorism. If we see the reversion of Afghanistan to a “sanctuary” for Al-Qaeda and ISIS, it could distract the U.S. away from its strategic focus on China, he adds.
